About our guides and instructors |
ACR's guides/ instructors have a minimum of 5 years personal climbing experience. They come from a strong background of guiding & instructing, having worked with and for organizations such as; Colorado Outward Bound, Wilderness Medicine Institute, SOLO, NOLS and PSIA. They have spent a great deal of time, energy, and money getting certified in various aspects of guiding, teaching, client care and emergency safety protocol. All group leaders have either current Wilderness First Responder or Emergency Medical Technician certifications. so you can be assured the finest care in the unlikely event of an emergency.

About the groups |
All groups will be organized based on age and ability (unless prearranged by client), in order to create the most comfortable learning atmosphere. (please note the minimum and maximum group number requirements)

What's Included |
All technical & safety gear including; ropes, harnesses, belay devices, helmets, climbing shoes, guides, instruction, transportation etc.

What's Not Included |
Personal equipment including; comfortable, sensible shoes (not sandals), a backpack, plenty of water (at least 2 quarts per person) lunch & snacks, sun screen, a hat to keep the sun off your head, basic foul weather & cool weather clothing (for those sudden afternoon thunder storms).

How to sign up |
All trips must be arranged a MINIMUM of 24 hours prior to the day you'd like to climb. A credit card guarantee is required at sign up. A cancellation fee of $40 will be charged for any trip canceled less than 48 hours in advance.

For those who are new to climbing or have done it occasionally.
Learn proper climbing techniques, etiquette, safety protocol,
including belaying, rope handling & knot tying. |
